The “Sorrow” of this Tuesday’s prayers take us inevitably to our Lord’s sacrifice for us. Not with the blood of animals or burnt offerings out of obligation but rather with love with the body and blood of His Son on a Cross. May we finally and fully abandon sin and embrace God.
