We carry our Cross along with Jesus (and Mary) this “Sorrowful” Tuesday. In doing so, we carry it not only to reach out to our Lord but to evangelize. We hold our Cross aloft as unapologetic Christians intent on honoring Mary’s constant self-denial and promoting the overwhelming mercy and loving strength of Jesus Christ, her son. Lord, grant me a life of Marian virtues so that I, like Simon, may reach out to faithfully take up Your cross and make it mine.
