“Sorrowful” Tuesdays thrust the prayerful Christian into the Lord’s Passion. Are we to permit the Lord to carry His cross without it moving us to lend a hand? Are we to permit our most defenseless to suffer at the hands of evil wtihout moving us to lend a hand? Lord, grant me a lively faith to put my faith into action, to participate fully in the life of Christ by being Christ to those in need.
