What a “Sorrow” indeed to be invited by Jesus Himself to join him in prayer this Tuesday and to instead fall asleep – three times! Matt. 26: 36-46. Lord, like the disciples, I, too, frequently fall asleep and lose my devotion to You amidst the clutter and noise of daily life. You have called me to a life of unceasing prayer (1 Thess. 5: 16-18). I pray that You awaken me from my slumber and forge in me the dedication to always live in conversation with You.
