“Sorrowful” Tuesday- Draw Closer To You, O Lord

Truly “Sorrowful” is the Tuesday wherein we do not learn the divine lessons from the crosses presented in our lives. Simon the Cyrenean was presented the opportunity to assist Jesus in bearing the cross. We meditate upon the lessons that he learned in bearing the weight of that cross and coming so close to Jesus. Lord, I pray that as I encounter the crosses in my life, that I, too, draw closer to You and always bear them with you by my side.
