On “Sorrowful” Tuesdays, we are invited in prayer to walk along the path to Calvary with Jesus. A passerby, Simon the Cyrenian, was pressed into service to help Jesus carry his Cross. Luke 23: 26. Imagine the honor of helping Jesus but also marvel at the humility of Jesus to accept the help. The son of God deigned to accept help from one of us. Lord, help me to continue to learn from Your example, put aside my pride and accept the help of my neighbor.
