“Sorrowful” Tuesdays drive us to the scourging. Jesus was scourged by Pilate’s order despite concluding: “I find no guilt in him.” Luke 18:38. He did not deserve the suffering, the cruelty that he endured and yet did so with dignity and strength. Jesus trusted in the Father’s plan. Lord, grant us the grace to endure the trials, the challenges that we encounter in trying to serve you and to always trust in your Divine mercy.
