“Sorrowful” Tuesday- Jesus’ Last Act: Bequeath Us His Mother

“Sorrowful” Tuesdays recall our Lord’s Crucifixion. We are called to focus upon His last words and actions. Jesus turns to John and says “Behold, your mother.” John 19:27. Then, it was finished. John 19:28-30. Jesus’ last act was to bequeath His Mother to us – for us to take her into our homes and our hearts. “Holy Mary, Mother of God.”
